Gazipaşa lies about 40 kilometres east of Alanya on the coast. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport is right in the region, and Antalya is around two and a half hours away.

The town is much smaller and more rural than Alanya. Banana plantations and greenhouses shape the surroundings, the beaches are quiet, and the town has a market, shops and basic services. New complexes are going up, but the area is not yet densely built.
